My current cold brew recipe
What do you need?
- Coffee: grounded, from the supermarket, nothing fancy.
- Two containers: one to brew, one to put the filtered coffee in.
- Coffee filter: not too small, but small enough to stay on top of the container.
How do you make it?
- Put 50 grams of coffee in container.
- Put 600 milliliters of water in container.
- Let it rest for 12~24 hours.
- Filter it into the other container.
- Drink it.1
Cold brew coffee
- Is easy to make.
- Lots of coffee for little effort.
- Tastes good even with not so good coffee.
- Wonderful base for cold lattes.
- Especially good when you want a cold drink.
- Less messy than using an espresso machine.
- Harder to make watery coffee than a pour-over over ice.
- Higher concentration of caffeine.
